Getting out
of the Atuel Canyon and going along a winding slope, we’ll get to the
mirror ofwater contained by the dike El Nihuil. Its 9600 ha. contain a great
and varied ichthyologic richness that allows fishing lovers to enjoy this
magnificent place. Aquatic sports are worth mentioning since not only can
sportsmen enjoy their favourite activities but these activitiesare also a
show for watchers. Windsurfing, swimming, canoeing, motorboating and aquatic
skiing are some of the possible activities that can be practised in this place,
apart from fishing. The village El Nihuil is located on the right bank of
the lake. Most of its inhabitants are workers in the plants of Electrointensiva.
