Las Leñas is a synonym of skiing. This cordilleran valley is located 75 km of the Northeast of Malargüe. This valley stretches along the bank of the Stream Las Leñas in an amazing landscape of big mountains and beautiful Andean rivers that rise among the quebradas.
This is the largest skiing center of South America. The Centro Internacional de Esquí Valle de Las Leñas (International Skiing Center Valley of Las Leñas) has an infrastructure which is worthy of admiring. Three thousand and two hundred beds, shopping center, restaurants, cash machines, drugstores, supermarkets and day nursery are some of the services of the center, which, together with the excellent quality of its ski slopes and its snow, make it one of the largest skiing centers of the world.
